CARDBOARD CITY for BRIGHTON FRINGE, May 2024
Crowdfunded project to enable children to access free play whilst creating a giant cardboard city. Held at outdoor venue at Fool’s Paradise, St Peter’s Church. In collaboration Mhari from Sketchup Brighton, alongside charity U Can Spray.
OUR PLACE PROJECT, DOME BRIGHTON FESTIVAL, feb-may 2024
As Artist in Residence for Our Place in Moulsecoomb and Bevendean, I delivered workshops to the M&B community where participants created cardboard arcade games and art from electrical junk and other waste materials, all to be exhibited in one large final event in May during the festival. FINAL EVENT - ARCADE 67 , 67 Centre, Hodshrove Way, Moulsecoomb - May 11/12th 12-4pm
TED X TALKS, BRIGHTON DOME, 5th April 2024
Electrical Junk Modelling workshop delivered to attendees of the event. This will be linked to the above festival project, where children at my workshops will set design briefs for the adults to create models, which will then be displayed at the Discovery event for Brighton Festival in May. In collaboration with arts provider Cult Milk.
