Workshops

holidays

These are advertised on an ad hoc basis on my Facebook and Instagram pages.

These are different on every occasion, however there are some recurring favourites, usually involving junk modelling, graffiti, printing, painting and reverse engineering.

Holiday workshops are typically held in schools or community rooms across B&H.

birthdays

I don’t advertise these as they are not typically ‘parties’, but I am able to deliver bespoke workshops on a theme of your choice, and at a venue of your choice.

Please email me to enquire about dates, times and prices.

weekends

When time allows, I am able to offer Saturday sessions from my garden workshop. I can take max 6 children and deliver workshops on any number of themes. We use a huge range of different tools, techniques and equipment, such as printing, paper-making, batik, woodwork, graffiti, cardboard construction and much more.

These are advertised on an ad hoc basis on my Facebook and Instagram pages.

What will your child learn in a workshop?

How to use tools safely

How to master an art technique

How to use their imagination in unusual ways

That their ideas are valuable and their work will be celebrated

That they can make mistakes and use them as important learning opportunities

That they can develop skills in a really short space of time

How to be resourceful and think in unsual and imaginative ways

That art is all around us, and that we are all artists

Social media

I make an effort to share children’s work on my social media pages in order for families to see the work, and also for children to realise that there’s a willing audience out there, keen to see their creations. I will often tag an artist if we use them as inspiration, and this has led to some brilliant connections and conversations which I share with the children.
